Fernando Cardenas, Sr., is the founder, owner and chief operator of the 3H Equestrian Center, a premier boarding, training and breeding facility. His professional equestrian career spans over four decades through every level of the sport. He has competed successfully at the grand prix dressage level, open show jumping, and advanced three day eventing. Career highlights include, among other things, representing the Colombian dressage team at the 1983 Pan American games in Caracas, Venezuela. In 1987, he was named the official head coach for the Colombian show jumping Pan American team. Originally from Colombia, South America, he has competitively trained and competed in the United States for over twenty years. Fernando has trained numerous students through the FEI levels in all three disciplines of the sport and in international competitions. His vast experience as a show jumping course designer and dressage judge further enhance his abilities as a high caliber trainer for students at all levels.
